SCE uses an abrasive water jet to make certain custom gaskets because of the flexibility offered by this technology. This machine can also be used for cutting header flanges, intake spacers, phenolic carb spacers, oil pan rails, valve cover rails or any other flat material you choose.

We offer a complete design-build service which allows you to specify the application and/or material; we will then design your part, submit a print for your review and approval, write a program and make the parts. From the simple to the complex we can cut it on the water jet.

Consider that SCE already owns the designs for virtually every intake, header, carb base and every other bolted flange on the engine due to our gasket manufacturing. This can save you money on design charges that another cutting service or machine shop would have to invoice; in addition, intake spacers made by SCE will match the intake gaskets and cylinder head more closely than a generic spacer, saving you grinder time for port matching.

Our in house Flow Water Jet holds a .002” precision tolerance in materials up to 3” thick.
